POSTMAN Pat and Rupert Bear have taken up residence with other childhood favourites in a North Yorkshire country mansion for the rest of the summer.
Paintings, drawings, sketch books and annuals drawn by children’s book illustrator Ray Mutimers have gone on display at Nunnington Hall near Helmsley until September 2.
The Knaresborough artist brought many well-loved characters including Postman Pat, Rupert Bear, Paddington Bear, Noddy and Charlie Chalk to life.
Property operations manager Clare Fletcher said: “This exhibition will be a real treat for all. These vibrant and well known characters will delight children but also are firm childhood favourites for all they really do look fantastic!”
