SATIRICAL comedy duo Punt & Dennis will return to the live circuit next year after a four-year hiatus.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 10am at the Grand Opera House, York, where the double act will perform on January 28.
Hugh Dennis’s popularity has risen anew since their last tour, on account of his role in the award-winning Outnumbered on BBC1 and his quips as a regular panellist on Mock The Week on BBC2.
He and Steve Punt first performed together in the Cambridge Footlights in their university days and came to prominence as half of The Mary Whitehouse Experience, performing alongside David Baddiel and Robert Newman. They have gone on to star in such shows as The Now Show and It’s Been A Bad Week on BBC Radio 4 and My Hero on BBC1, their eye always on look-out for the absurd and the political send-up.
Tickets for their 8pm show cost £20 or £18 on 0844 847 2322 or online at www.grandoperahouseyork.org.uk
