Comedy Gold returns to The Golden Fleece, in Pavement, York, on Tuesday, when Shelley Cooper headlines.
“She’s hilarious and unique and she’s performed all over the world. I know she’ll go down a storm in York,” says promoter James Christopher.
The 8.30pm bill will be opened by the multi-award winning Sam Gore, Hull Comedian of the Year, Manchester World Series champion, Hilarity Bites winner and Anything For Laffs 2008 winner. “Sam’s impressive credentials are met by his wonderfully acidic wit,” says James.
Tuesday’s support comes from Tel Banham, Max Dickins, and Paul Savage and the regular joke competition is promised too. Doors open at 8pm; admission £4, NUS members £3.
