JIMMY Carr’s return to the Grand Opera House with his Joke Technician show on April 28 has sold out.
The urbane wag first fine-tuned his Joke Technician material over two nights at the York theatre at the outset of his tour last September.
This month, he is polishing up his joke technique once more on tour. “It’s rude, crude and offensive, but those aren’t the only reasons you’ll enjoy it,” he says, as dry as ever.
