SHAPPI Khorsandi reflects on the good things and celebrates her haphazard zigzag towards her dreams in her latest tour show, Because I'm Shappi, a title you will note that riffs on a line from a ubiquitous Pharrell Williams hit.

After launching the show last autumn and backing it up with a sold-out run at London's Soho Theatre, Shappi is back on the road on her spring tour, playing Leeds City Varieties Music Hall on April 30, when she will introduce you to friends, family and total strangers who have helped her on her personal Yellow Brick Road.

Last November, Shappi appeared as a panellist on ITV1's Loose Women and her book A Beginner's Guide To Acting English is now out in paperback, published by Bloomsbury.

Tickets for her 7.30pm gig are on sale on 0113 243 0808 or at cityvarieties.co.uk
