DANNY John Jules, alias The Cat, is the fourth and final Red Dwarf leading cast member to confirm his appearance at Scarborough’s first comic convention this spring.
This completes a major coup for the organisers of Sci Fi Scarborough, on the heels of Robert Llewelyn (Kryten) and Chris Barrie (Rimmer) agreeing to attend on April 5.
Craig Charles, who plays Dave Lister, has signed up for a midnight funk & soul club DJ set at the Saturday night Cosmic Disco in Scarborough Spa’s Grand Hall.
Convention co-organiser Steve Dickinson says: “This is the icing on the cake for us to have the all the boys from Red Dwarf appearing at Sci Fi Scarborough.”
The convention will be held on April 5 and 6 at the Spa complex. “It will bring a full weekend of all that is geek to Scarborough,” says Steve.
“Guests from the sci-fi and fantasy worlds of TV; film; comic books; authors; prop makers; artists; gaming; manga; collectables; steampunk, traders and more are set to invade the Spa.”
