Mine’s a half

So the Government wants to reduce the drink drive level to one pint.

I can only assume they are terrified there might be one or two rural pubs still serving.

Presumably you've not been the victim of a drink driver....?

Come on Paul, he's making a valid point.
Drunk driving is criminal but to take it down to equivalent of less than 1 pint of beer is unnecessary. It will hit every restaurant beyond a reasonable taxi ride.

It is a valid point, but I drive and never drink when I'm going to drive. If the time came up where I'd had a pint and needed to drive I still wouldn't. But thats my choice to make and 1 pint doesn't really affect your sense of judgement, so is a bit unnecessary

We are a country at war & in debt to the tune of around £850 Billion with high unemployment, the highest energy costs in Europe, thanks to the global warming scam and an over growing population, and now this!
Is this about banning stone cold sober drivers? The roads are congested so find a way of getting rid of more drivers.
We are all different regards our alcohol tolerance but imagine only having a couple of drinks the night before you lost your licence.
Drivers well over the current limit deserve all they get; but this!
Haven't we got better things to worry about.
Another common sense comment from Mr Bloom, like it or not.
