WITH reference to the “Brits hoarding secret cash stash” (The Press, October 11), I think it has always been the same.
My mother told me a story many years ago about my great Aunt Ada.
She had to go into hospital for an operation so she asked my mam if she would do some house cleaning while she was in hospital.
During the time mam spent cleaning the house, she found quite a bit of money hidden in several different places.
Mam took the money and gave it to great Aunt Ada and her reply was that she had forgotten all about it.
