HAVE you noticed how people are starting to take up more and more space as they move around town?
With their oversize handbags, haversacks, large shoulder bags, many pulling small suitcases, and with their attention often taken up with their phones or listening to their music.
You put yourself at risk in shops as they swing their shopping baskets willy nilly as they peruse the items unaware of people around them, and with a scything action catching the unaware as they go.
I’ve taken to lifting the niece’s pushchair hood up in shopping areas just to protect her face from swinging baskets and bags.
It’s just a pity people don’t take more care and that they are not more spatially aware of what’s going on around them.
