UPON returning to Parliament in October having enjoyed a long summer holiday, MPs may wonder what to do next.

While they have been running short of suncream, their loyal constituents have been saddled with an extra cost of £112 per year for an essential utility - electricity.

Why? Because our MPs continually think they can save the planet by voting for useless renewable energy subsidies that achieve absolutely nothing other than to burden everyone with further financial constraints.

Well done to all in Westminster.
