MANY years ago on holiday we sailed into a harbour set in heavily wooded mountains.
A tourist asked if the message spelled out in large white boulders on the hill side said “Welcome to Turkey”. The local guide’s reply was: “No madam, it says incendiaries will be shot.”
After the mindless fire raisers of the last few days, should the law be reinstated?
