IT is no surprise that the negatives and the remoaners are at it already, now that Theresa May has called their bluff by going for a General Election.

The reality is that she had little choice in the matter, given the threats from the Lib Dems, Labour, the SNP and the House of Lords, all of whom – with the encouragement of the likes of Tony Blair and John Major – have declared their intentions of thwarting the clear will of the voting majority in the referendum.

As our Prime Minister, she has a duty to secure us the best possible Brexit deal but she cannot do so with all the threats before her and with a slim majority.

Well done to her for her decisiveness in rising to the challenge in the only way that is realistically open to her.
