I WAS in receipt of the brief for the Lord Mayor’s Chocolate Trail.
Assuming that this was an Easter egg hunt for children, I was appalled to note that the chosen charities for this event were York Civic Trust, St Nicks Centre for Nature and Green Living, York LGBT Forum and York Racial Equality Network.
To support these charities seems to me so very wrong for a children’s Easter egg hunt - no support for children at all.
