I AM 65 and one of the great things is I’ve seen science fiction become science fact.

The flat screen television (1936, Things To Come), the MRI scan (Logan’s Run) and the iPad (The Eye) in Terra Nova, also space stations, word recognition and reactive phones in 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Scientists are now learning from science fiction.

These are the interesting things in life but there is also the dark side.

I have heard so many people say that things will only get worse.

I refuse to accept that, because we cannot just throw in the towel. It is our duty as civilised human beings to work toward making the world a better place for the youngest generation.

A world of peace, love, kindness and compassion.

We cannot take the pessimistic outlook on life because with pessimism there is no future.

We have got to take the optimistic attitude and hope that things will get better and work towards a better future.

There is a lot out there to make our future bright.
