MANY people in the last stages of a terminal illness have a final wish.
It may be to return to a favourite place, or to see an old friend.
A charity in Holland - the Ambulance Wish Foundation - helps the dying wishes of terminally ill people come true. Now York is a step closer to getting a ‘dying wish’ ambulance of its own.
Serina Doran, whose mum Tina is terminally ill, is trying to raise £60,000 for an ambulance. And she’s now £25,000 closer after voters chose her to receive an award from the Aviva Community Fund.
It’s a wonderful cause. We look forward to Serina smashing through that target...
