JONATHAN HEAWOOD, the CEO of IMPRESS, says he is proud to be a journalist (Letters, January 11) yet he writes with all the obfuscation of a politician, only stating the points that try to support his side of things while omitting anything that doesn’t help him.
No mention of the multi-millionaire Max Mosley who is funding IMPRESS.
No mention of the totally un-British, totally unfair proposed law where the winner of a case has automatically got to pay the legal costs of the loser, however spurious their accusation was.
Let’s hope a supposedly freedom-loving Tory party sees sense and justice, and puts this proposed legislation where it belongs.
