WE would like to invite your readers to join us on York's first Busathon on Friday, November 25.
Cakes will be provided.
The idea is to encourage bus travel and to support bus companies in improving their services.
The York Busathon will leave Melrosegate on bus number 20 at 10.56am, travelling through to Rawcliffe Mitre, and then taking the return bus leaving Rawcliffe at noon.
Other timings are as follows: Monks Cross shops: 11.10, 12.54.
Huntington School: 11.18, 12.41.
Joseph Rowntree School: 11.24, 12.36.
Haxby shops: 11.30, 12.30.
Clifton Moor: 11.50, 12.10.
Rawcliffe: arr 11.56, dep 12.00.
This Busathon is being organised by John Bibby of York Bus Forum.
We want to speak to travellers and learn what improvements they are looking for from their bus companies and from the council.
