York Minster
AS A former resident of York, I spent many years enjoying the Minster bells.
Please someone tell us the truth. Have the ropes become frayed and in need of replacing?
If so, no doubt nosey parkers, trouble makers, health and safety etc will have stuck their oar in.
According to them, we are not allowed to climb a ladder to change a lightbulb unless we are encased in a cosy wrap, neck brace and a yellow helmet.
