NORTH Yorkshire Police along with our local council are once again to reward idiotic cyclists with a set of lights to see them home on dark nights.
PCSO Turner said: “It’s really important that cyclists take their safety on the road seriously.”
Well those clowns that ride without lights - often in dark clothing - have no intention of taking things seriously and couldn’t give a frog’s foot for the law either.
Everyone knows for less than price of a pint you can light up a bike but a telling off, coupled with a high visibility rucksack cover and a set of lights, then it’s obvious who’s laughing at who.
You couldn’t make it up, you really couldn’t.
