ANOTHER youngster has died in the River Ouse.
Surely this is another tragic death that could have been prevented if action was taken as follows.
If wrought-iron railings were fixed to the top parapet of Ouse Bridge, people could look through the railings down to the river.
The height needs to be high enough to prevent accidents without blocking the river views.
London has bridges where railings prevent accident, why not York?
The matter is urgent.
