I WAS outraged reading the comments made about Jurgen Klopp (Letters, May 7).

You do not impress the younger generation by the way you present yourself, re cleanliness and smartness (he isn’t one of the great unwashed for heaven’s sake).

It is what one has in one’s heart and soul that impresses. All of his young players would agree, I am sure.

He is a fantastic manager and has a reputation as such.

The Kray twins dressed smartly, were clean cut and well presented, so is Ken saying that is the better option?

Did looking like that make them better role models than looking like Klopp?

I find Klopp inspiring by the way, and I am in my late 40s.
