REGARDING the shelves of bowls at York Art Gallery, I think it's even more ridiculous than the dirty bed of Tracey Emin.
At first I thought the gallery intended to serve soup and buns in the cold weather. Then, as it was shown so many times in photographs, it was pretty obvious it was one of the exhibits.
I would just like to say I have a cupboard full of bowls, plates, mugs, cups, saucers and jugs and people would be very welcome to come and view them free of charge and leave a small donation which I could then forward to the Macmillan nurses.
At least there is a variety in my cupboard instead of shelves full of boring bowls, of which there seems to be no point whatsoever. Art? Never in a month of Sundays.
