PROTESTERS once again called for the re-opening of Dr David Kelly’s inquest on the 12th anniversary of his disappearance last Friday, July 17, outside the Royal Courts of Justice.
Dr Kelly’s body was found on July 18, 2003, on Harrowdown Hill. An unexplained death, which has to have a full coroner’s inquest, under centuries-old British law. We are still waiting. Crucial evidence was made secret from the public for an unprecedented 70 years by Lord Hutton.
The Ministry of Justice could not explain this.
With Hillsborough, and now the allegations of a Westminster Paedophile Ring, it is reasonable to lose faith in our establishment, for whom we pay as working citizens. We call on our MPs to challenge subversion of British law, and work towards re-opening Dr Kelly’s inquest. Only truth and justice will restore public faith, and justice for Dr Kelly is justice for all of us.
