IT IS a miracle binman Andrew Sedman wasn't killed when the bin lorry he was working on reversed over him last November.
The 54-year-old from Norton suffered two punctured lungs, broken ribs and a broken collar bone and shoulder, and damage to his liver and spleen. He was also blinded in both eyes because he lost so much blood his optic nerves were starved of oxygen.
Remarkably, just seven months on, Andrew is planning a sponsored walk to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance - without which he doesn't think he'd be here today.
Now that's what we call pluck. Good for you, Andrew - and our thanks to all at the air ambulance who helped save his life.
