I AGREE with Mr Vassie’s comments about how much bankers get paid.

I am also fed up with a system of low return on savings for the average person in the street.

Surely they could have accounts that do not affect interest rates.

When you go into a bank or building society, we are told it is because interest rates are so low.

These institutions can go to the Chancellor and get money from him. We, the customer, do not feel much loyalty.

It would be interesting if everybody took their money out at once.

Consumers have a choice where to buy items and banks should be more helpful and accountable.
