IT would be helpful if a law was passed where by all cyclists were compelled to wear a reflective band at the very least.

We once had a choice about whether or not we wore a seat belt, now we don’t; it is compulsory because it was recognised that it saved lives. When will we see the same with a reflective band on cyclist to help save their lives?

I say a band because even if cyclist have lights there have been times when whatever they have on their back, backpack and the like, actually covers the rear light.

I have had a few near misses.

The brighter, the better. Does anyone agree?
