WITH regards to your report headlined "Clarkson suspended following fracas" (The Press, March 11).

First of all there are two types of people that I particularly dislike: snobs and bullies. And I regard them both with the disdain they deserve.

Jeremy Clarkson seems to be the ultimate bully, the number one arrogant purveyor of swaggering aggression and irresponsibility as regards his dealings with anyone or anything that gets in his way.

But like all bullies, he doesn't like it when someone says enough is enough.

For too long, Clarkson and his chums have got away with with their stupidity and callous indifference to the world around them.

The time has come for Jeremy and co to face the music, and perhaps do something socially useful in their lives, instead of creating generations of crash-test 'dummies' from the brainwashed hordes of 'petrol-heads' that at the moment hang on their every word.

And as for the BBC, I hope they will finally aspire to regaining a little moral credibility, by sacking Mr Clarkson and axing Top Gear for good.
