I WOULD like to thank Martin Pearce (The Press, January 14) as well as all the other people who give blood on a regular basis.
My husband has been having blood transfusions every two weeks for some time and will continue to need them in the future.
Also a big thank-you to the team in haematology at York Hospital for the care and attention we receive.
