I WONDER if The Press is going to come out in support of the Labour Party in York?
I ask this as just the mere point of Julie Gunnell putting her name forward as PPC, without having yet been selected, merited more than half a page and yet the actual selection of the two Ukip PPC’s for York Central and York Outer was only worthy of a small paragraph.
Is this the shape of things to come – does this show that there is not going to be a level playing field in reporting the issues running up to the election?
Well, let us see as if this letter is published; it will go some way to showing all other parties will have at least a small chance of their policies being debated.
Finally, let us not forget, like it or not, Ukip is polling third nationally so we deserve at least a chance to show what we stand for locally.
