READING both Sue Cook’s letter and Ken Barnes “War and Terror” letter (The Press, December 5).

In 1987, I went with my husband on a ecumenical pilgrimage to the Holy Land, a bus full of Christians, the driver Jewish, the guide Muslim.

Staying for the first part in a kibbutz close to the Lebanon and Syrian board visiting Joppa, Capernaum, Nazareth, Cana and many other cities around the Sea of Galilee.

We then stayed close to Jerusalem visiting all the Holy sites including Church of the Nativity Bethlehem, Mount of Olives, all this done without fear or trepidation.

How sad it is now that a wall divides the city, and the people. Christian, Jew, Muslim, it is the same God we worship and it will be Him we have to answer to in the end.
