POLITICIANS of all parties regularly profess how much they care about the NHS.
In Thursday’s Westminster debate on NHS funding, fewer than 100 MPs were in the chamber.
By 2020 an extra £8 billion per year will be needed for the NHS over and above current spending commitments.
This can be easily found. Stop all direct foreign aid payments to governments.
Take out from the foreign aid budget all that is needed for the NHS and any billions left should be given directly to charities who are working on the ground in those countries where aid is needed.
