I READ the letter from Mr Oglesby with interest (Worthless Cameron promise over EU, September 17).
When it comes to the UK’s membership of the European Union, there is only one party that has promised to get Britain a better deal, and only one party has promised an in-out referendum, and that is the Conservative Party.
Our relationship with the EU isn’t working and it needs fundamental change. Under David Cameron, change in Europe has already been delivered.
The Prime Minister stopped the transfer of more powers to Brussels by being the first EU Head of State to veto a new EU treaty, and British taxpayers have been saved money by refusing to bail out the euro.
More change is needed, but only the Conservatives will give the British people an in-out referendum. Labour and the Lib Dems won’t and UKIP can’t.
