I AM responding to Mr Price’s letter “Hardly a victory” August 22.
I have endeavoured to keep Mr Price aware of the planning protocols concerning him and other residents of St Deny’s Court, relating to both licensing and change of use for 59-63 Walmgate.
I have never disregarded any party, organisation or local authority procedures, rights and/or grievances.
I respect Mr Price’s and others right to voice any concerns and have at all times since the development followed advice given by the local authority and its officers.
I have met with Mr Price and other residents of St Deny’s court and explained in detail the process and situation concerning ‘planning’ matters.
Mr Price is incorrect in his letter concerning these issues and I have to say he is aware of his written inaccuracies stated in The Press.
Ellis Thackray, Bicis y Mas, Walmgate, York.
