Labour change

York Press: Labour change Labour change

MY COMMISERATIONS to Ken King and others who have been dumped by Clifton ward Labour Party.

What I hope he realises is that times “they are a-changing”, as is Labour.

First there was Labour, then under Tony Blair we had New Labour, and now in York under James Alexander we have New, New Labour.

Sorry, Ken, but your kind of socialism is too democratic for the present leadership.

Good luck to you, wherever you try.

Peter Gibson, Deepdale, York.

Labour will be kicked out for sure. The Tories may not be perfect but they're the only credible opposition and we know they favour local services over Cllr Alexander's ridiculous vanity projects.
