Soul gig success
LAST Saturday evening, YKSoul came out of retirement to host a charity soul night in Guildhall, York.
The dance floor was a hive of activity throughout the evening and the event was supported by around 120 people and raised more than £400 for the York branch of the Normandy Veterans’ Association.
May I thank everyone who supported the evening, in particular the DJs, VJ and YKSoul colleagues, Cllr John Galvin for providing a superb venue and the Sheriff and Sheriff’s Lady , Cllr Brian and Marcia Watson, who gave up their time to join us.
