WE are all too aware of how stressful Christmas has become with all the traditional chores we have to do.
So this year my husband and I decided to opt out of the traditional Christmas lunch and have an Indian instead at the Raj Indian in Bootham.
It was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff were so obliging, full of Christmas spirit, all wearing Santa hats.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and the meal was to die for. We paid £20 each and this consisted of popadoms, a choice of starter, main and sweet to finish with a coffee.
Where else can you go for a meal on Christmas Day for that price? I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It was fantastic, plus no washing up afterwards.
