WHEN George Osborne celebrates our ‘recovery’ he obviously overlooks the fact that we, as a country, are in debt to the tune of £1.16 trillion pounds (90 per cent of GDP) and that the annual cost of servicing the debt is £40 billion.
This is roughly £18,125 per head. Only Japan and Ireland are in more debt. Some recovery.
