Oh dear, once again Heather Causnett focuses all the blame for the ills of child nurture on the mothers (Letters, February 18).

Are there no violent, addictive, neglectful and slovenly fathers? After all, children have two parents, and surely the responsibility for their care rests on both parents equally.

I know from experience that there are loving and caring parents of both sexes.

A balanced and sensible letter.

HC has issues with females. She said so herself.
