I AM trying to locate an old Army friend. 

Ken Simpson and I joined up at the then Army Apprentice School in Harrogate in the February of 1957, where we served a three-year apprenticeship.

Thirty-five years ago, I started to track down all the lads I joined up with and have so far found 102. It is Ken who I have set my sights on next. It would appear that he came from Wetherby and did his Army apprenticeship as an electrician.

When he left Harrogate he went into the Royal Engineers. Above is an old photograph of him taken when he left Harrogate in 1960.
