On behalf of York and District against Motor Neurone Disease (YAMND), I should like to thank all those who volunteered to help at our bag packing event in Marks & Spencer on Thursday, November 29.

All were fantastic as usual and very generous with their time. We raised a total of £930. Thanks also to all M&S customers who kindly donated and to staff for allowing the collection to take place during the St Nicholas Fair.

York and District against Motor Neurone Disease has been supporting people with MND for more than 20 years and it is only with the generosity shown at events such as this that we can continue.
