Just don’t drink

I WISH to pledge my full support to North Yorkshire police’s annual Christmas drink-drive campaign (The Press, November 30), having once put my own life in danger in order to prevent a drink-driver setting off with a young child on the back seat of the car.

Please be sensible and don’t drink or take drugs and drive ever – because the consequences will live with you for ever.

Use the bus, train, walk or get a non-drinking prson to drive.

You can tell proper brave heroes, they are the ones who regularly feel the need to write to local papers telling everyone what a hero they are.

Yeah, don't drink, just wander round making a single can of red bull last all night whilst making increasingly pathetic attempts to get women less than half your age to talk to you instead. But of course Terry, you wouldn't know about that would you eh?
