THE home of Noel Goddard Terry, of chocolate manufacturer Terry’s of York, is open to the public on Saturday.

The building, known as Goddards, on Tadcaster Road, York, is now owned by the National Trust and is used as the charity’s regional office for Yorkshire.

Members of the public can visit the house and gardens and hear more about the Terry family and their home between 11am and 4pm, as part of the National Trust’s Heritage Open Days.

There will also be live music from Bejazzled, who will be playing light jazz classics.
