DO YOU live in Askham Bryan - or did you grow up there during the war?
If so, you'll love the three photographs above. They were sent in by reader Gerald Hardwick, from Harrogate. And they show the village's VE Day celebrations in 1945.
When he was a boy, Gerald spent time in the village himself. "During school holidays in the 1940s I stayed some days at Askham Bryan with my late aunt Emily, known as Nurse Pickles. She was the District Nurse," he says.
He's always thought these photos - which were taken by his late cousin Mary, who also stayed with his aunt in the village - showed the Askham VE Day celebrations. But before he sent them to us, he very kindly paid a visit to the village to check.
"Enquiries resulted in meeting elderly people who had lived there many many years," he says. "They were most helpful and verified the photos are of Askham VE Day 1945 celebrations."
Gerald was told that the young girl at the front of one photograph, holding a a can and a card, represents the Mrs Mop character from the radio show Itma.
But do you recognise any of the other children in the photographs?
Over to you...
