FREE exercise classes are being offered to older people to help reduce the risk of falls and help with balance, stability and confidence.
Classes are run in York by Angie Hampton, a registered nurse, falls practitioner and postural stability instructor from York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Angie said: “Research has shown that older people who take part in regular strength and balance training may be less likely to fall.”
Classes are held in York on Mondays and Fridays.
