Advice classes for home births
WOMEN in the York and Malton area who are planning a home birth with midwives are now able to attend information sessions for the first time since they were discontinued in 2011.
York Hospital restarted the sessions in response to a joint campaign by The Association for Improvements in the Maternity Services, Healthwatch York and the Midwifery Services Liaison committee.
The next one will be held at Malton Hospital between 3pm and 4.30pm on Friday, February 21 and between 3pm to 4.30pm on Friday, March 7, at York Hospital.
