STORM Barney has been passing through Yorkshire, hot on the heels of Storm Abigail.
So who's next?
The Met Office and its Irish counterpart Met Éireann announced earlier this year that it would name storms, to increase public awareness of impending weather threats and to help people track the storms on social media.
Storms will be given a name once forecasters in Ireland and the UK have concluded it might cause media or high wind impact in one or both of the countries.
Names are chosen in alphabetical order and alternate between male and female names. As in the United States, Q, U, X, Y and Z are left out.
