A YORK hotel hosted an evening of food cooked by York’s Masterchef finalist Sara Danesin Medio to raise money for Jessie’s Fund, a charity for seriously-ill children.
Lesley Schatzberger, Jessie’s Fund director, said: “It was terrific for the Dean Court Hotel to choose Sara to head a charity event, even more so for her to choose Jessie’s fund.”
The hotel donated £480 and a further £320 was raised by guests.
The money will give a child at least three days of musical workshops.
