Fundraisers from North Yorkshire have been shortlisted for the title of Endurance Fundraiser Of The Year at the national JustGiving Awards.
JustGiving, the online charity platform, celebrates outstanding achievements of the UK’s most charitable people.
In July, Julian Norton and Roger Brown, of Thirsk, broke a Guinness World Record when they spent 24 hours on an indoor rowing machine.
They raised £12,500 for Herriott Hospice Homecare, a charity in Northallerton, to provide a night time support service for people taking care of the terminally ill.
The awards ceremony is on February 10 in London.
Anne Huby, of the JustGiving Awards, said: “The JustGiving Awards are our opportunity to celebrate all the people who do the most amazing, creative and even crazy things in the name of charity.”
