DRINKERS with trouble balancing have been helping raise money for charity in York.
Staff at Pivní in Patrick Pool have raised £500 for Dementia UK thanks to their fruity bar-top challenge.
Customers have been invited to balance a 20p piece on a floating lemon for five seconds, with the promise of a free pint if they succeed.
But few do so, and after seeing thousands of coins sink to the bottom of the glass, staff have now donated the proceeds to charity.
