HUNTER Gee Holroyd has held its annual Professionals Quiz in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice.
The accountancy and business firm held the event at the Monk Bar Hotel, York, and was supported by teams from companies in and around the city.
The 1980s-themed event included general knowledge, music, sports, film and break-out rounds.
Nigel Atkinson, director, said: ‘‘I am delighted with the success of the quiz and the £2000 raised for Martin House Children’s Hospice. The evening was great fun; the business community of York certainly showed they know their Dexy’s Midnight Runners from their Duran Duran’s! The event was a real team effort which has involved a considerable amount of work."
Martin House in Wetherby provides care and support to families with a child with a short life expectancy.
